Firing incident reported at Miran Sahib Jammu, case registered | KNO

Jammu, Apr 27 (KNO): A firing incident occurred inside Khajuria sweet shop in Miran Sahib area in the outskirts of Jammu city. The firing incident is being attributed to a case of ransom. A police officer present at the spot told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that in the late evening they received an information about the firing inside the sweet shop. "The police team immediately rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. A local leader of a political party was involved in the incident," the police officer said. He informed that it was actually a case of ransom during which the fire was opened inside the shop. Locals said that two people had arrived at the sweet shop on a motor bike and fired and fled from the area. No one was injured in this incident, they said. Meanwhile, Police said that a local made weapon (Katta) was used in this act. A case in this regard has been registered in police station Miran Sahib, they said—(KNO)
